El Museo Cerralbo es un museo de titularidad estatal dependiente de la Dirección General de Bellas Artes y Bienes Culturales del Ministerio de Cultura, que cuenta con una Fundación para su tutela y apoyo. Esta casa-museo tiene su origen en el legado de don Enrique de Aguilera y Gamboa (1845-1922), XVII marqués de Cerralbo, como político, académico, coleccionista y arqueólogo; y se completa con la donación de su hija política doña Amelia del Valle y Serrano (1853-1927), marquesa de Villa-Huerta, mostrando, en sus dos plantas, la forma de vida de una familia aristocrática de finales del siglo XIX y principios del XX.
